The NWHL is proud to announce a partnership with the consulting group Girsch Sports. The New York-based company is bringing its expertise to the NWHL to deliver a world-class fan experience to professional women’s hockey. Girsch Sports’ managed services will support activities for the league and all five teams, focusing on technology, sponsorships and game presentation.
The NWHL and Girsch Sports began their collaboration in the weeks prior to the opening of the league’s fifth season on Saturday.
“As the NWHL continues to drive revenue and get stronger as a business with each season bringing increasing success, the addition of Girsch Sports to our team is another important step to bring the best experience to our fans, players and partners,” said NWHL Commissioner Dani Rylan. “They have been outstanding collaborators in our preparation for the upcoming season, and over time, everyone who is a stakeholder in the NWHL – especially the fans – will see the tremendous impact Girsch Sports will have on our league.”
Girsch Sports partners with professional sports teams, leagues and players to accelerate fan engagement and development. With more than 20 years of experience in professional sports, the company offers support across sales, marketing, sponsorships and experiential activations to drive revenue, with an emphasis on technology and data’s role across the sports landscape.
“Everyone at Girsch Sports is honored to partner with the NWHL,” said Bryan Girsch, Founder and President of Girsch Sports. “We are in an exciting time in the sports world, where the opportunity to galvanize fans through creative and strategic content partnerships presents endless opportunities almost daily. We see this as another step in our mission, and the NWHL’s mission, to continue to build a blueprint for how sports organizations develop relationships with fans to grow the game we all love.”
