Interest in corporate sponsorship continues to pile up for the first-place, 20-1 Boston Pride of the National Women’s Hockey League.
The team today announced a partnership with Green Mountain Energy that makes the company the “official renewable energy partner of the Boston Pride” and official supporter of women’s and girls’ hockey.
Besides official partner status, Green Mountain Energy becomes the sponsor of every Boston Pride power play at home games at Warrior Ice Arena. This will be noted in-arena by public address announcer Paul Baker and on the Twitch broadcasts by announcers Sam Fryman and Erica Ayala.
“The Boston Pride are proud to welcome another genuine partner and supporter of women’s professional hockey in Green Mountain Energy,” said Pride President Hayley Moore. “Our entire team is a big fan of renewable energy, and we are blown away by the commitment of everyone at Green Mountain Energy. We know they will keep us energized in our run for the Isobel Cup.”
The Pride’s final regular home game is this Saturday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. against the Connecticut Whale. Tickets for the game are available now at www.nwhl.zone/tickets.
