HAMILTON, ONTARIO. Hamilton Bulldogs President & General Manager, Steve Staios announced today the signing of defenceman Lucas Moore to a Standard Players Agreement.
Moore, a native of Peterborough, Ontario, comes to the Bulldogs from the Peterborough Petes U16 AAA program where the young defender stood out as an underage talent. Fleet-footed and sublimely skilled, Moore blends his offensive talents with his strong attention to detail in the defensive zone. A calm, composed player, even in high pressure situations, Moore can also play a physical brand of hockey that makes the defender a nightmare to play against. Selected in the fourth round, 66th overall, in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft, Moore has the ability to play a big role in the future of the Bulldogs.
“We are extremely proud to be adding Lucas Moore to our Hamilton Bulldogs.” said Bulldogs President & General Manager Steve Staios. “Lucas has already shown his high level of character and maturity off the ice and we believe he can be a leader on the ice, in our locker room and our community.”
