NormaTec, the industry leader in compression technology for athlete recovery, has joined the National Women’s Hockey League as an official sponsor. The Massachusetts-based company is designated as the “Official Recovery Partner of the NWHL.”
“The National Women’s Hockey League is an incredible organization and NormaTec is proud to have formally teamed up with them this year,” said Gilad Jacobs, CEO of NormaTec. “Their immensely talented players are an inspiration both on and off the ice, and we look forward to supporting their success through optimized recovery.”
As part of the sponsorship, NormaTec will provide each of the five NWHL teams with the company’s state-of-the-art PULSE 2.0 systems, which are used by athletes as both a high-tech warmup and a post-workout recovery tool. In addition to promotion on the NWHL’s global streams on Twitch and the league’s social media platforms, NWHL players will lead activations with NormaTec products at select events.
“This alignment provides NWHL athletes access to NormaTec’s world-class products for recovery,” said Anya Packer, the executive director of the NWHL Players’ Association. “With this partnership, our athletes will be better equipped to bring top-level performance throughout the weeks of the intense NWHL season. As we continue to build and expand our league, athlete wellness will always be at the forefront of our vision. I could not be more excited to have players receive the immense benefits from their NormaTec recovery sessions.”
