The rosters for the teams captained by Jillian Dempsey and Madison Packer at the 2020 NWHL All-Star Weekend in Boston were unveiled today.
Fans selected three All-Stars: Lexi Bender, Rebecca Morse, and Audra Richards. NWHL Commissioner Dani Rylan previously announced that in honor of their extraordinary efforts for hockey, the following eight players with the league since the first season are All-Stars: Dempsey, Packer, Corinne Buie, Jordan Brickner, Shannon Doyle, Elena Orlando, Kaleigh Fratkin and Kiira Dosdall-Arena. The remaining 21 All Stars were chosen by the league office in consultation with the general managers and head coaches of the five teams.
On the rosters are eight members of the undefeated 17-0 Boston Pride, seven members of the second-place Minnesota Whitecaps, six players each from the Buffalo Beauts and Metropolitan Riveters, and five from the Connecticut Whale.
