Toronto Maple Leafs forward Wayne Simmonds skated before the team’s practice at Ford Performance Centre on Monday.
Out with fractured wrist sustained on Feb. 6 against the Vancouver Canucks, Simmonds was expected to be out of the lineup for six weeks. This puts the power play specialist’s timeline as out for another couple of weeks.
Simmonds did not join the team for their practice session, the team’s first at home following a five-game road trip where they went 3-2-0.
