NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.—Three players from the Merrimack Women’s Ice Hockey Team will be representing their home nations in the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women’s World Championships in May.
Former captain Marie Delarbre will suit up for Germany as a forward as they compete in Group B. The 2017 graduate has competed in over 130 national team caps in her career, and has been competing in the German Frauen-Budnesliga the last four seasons. Delarbre competed in 130 games for the Warriors, scoring six goals and 17 points in her career, including nine points in her senior season.

Kate Bukolska ’20 and Dominika Laskova will reunite to compete for the Czech Republic in Group B. Bukolska captained the Warriors in the 2019-20 season, posting a career-best five goals and 12 points as the forward finished her Merrimack tenure with 104 games played and 16 points. Bukolska spent the 2020-21 season competing for HC Pribram in the Czech Republic.
Laskova looks to continue her national team success as a two-way threat on defense. Laksova was tied for the team lead in goals last season, coming off a 2019-20 season where she was tied for the Warriors team lead in assists. In the 2014 World Championships, Laskova finished the tournament with the most points by a defenseman with four.
